Clinical Therapist

Devon Morrisey, MSW, LCSW-A, LCAS-A, is a dedicated Clinical Therapist at AIM: Advaita Integrated Medicine – Cary. She provides in-person and virtual therapy to her clients. She earned her master’s degree from Western Carolina University, bringing knowledge and compassionate, person-centered care to her practice.

Devon is passionate about providing care for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Devon tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique needs, empowering clients to navigate difficult emotions and complex life circumstances.

Devon has diverse clinical experience, including providing treatment for individuals in substance use disorder treatment and recovery, as well as facilitating Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program groups. She also worked in community mental health, where she contributed as part of an Assertive Community Treatment team, providing comprehensive, community-based care for individuals with mental health conditions. Devon enjoys integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) into her work to help clients build skills, strengthen their commitment to recovery, and create lasting change.
As a therapist, Devon is committed to providing nonjudgmental therapy. She strives to create a safe, respectful space where clients can explore their challenges and experiences.
