Devon Morrisey, MSW, LCSWA, LCASA, is a dedicated Clinical Therapist at Advaita Integrated Medicine in Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her master’s degree from Western Carolina University, bringing knowledge and compassionate, person-centered care to her practice. Devon believes in respecting each individual’s unique journey and meticulously tailors treatment plans to meet their specific needs.
As a Managed Care Therapist, Devon collaborates with clients and her interdisciplinary team to combat stigma around substance use and mental health treatment. Her commitment to clients’ recovery shines through her empathetic engagement and innovative care approaches.
Devon distinguished herself as an Opioid Workforce Expansion Program Scholar (OWEP), focusing on opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD) prevention, treatment, and recovery services in rural areas of western North Carolina. During this time, she received specialized training in Addiction Studies, enhancing her expertise in effective interventions. Devon now provides focused and impactful interventions for those battling addiction, thanks to this training.
