Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica Cashwell, known by the rest of the team as Jessie, serves as AIM’s Patient Care Coordinator. In her role she provides support and assistance to clinical providers so they can provide optimal patient care. Working at various medical offices has allowed her the opportunity to provide assistance to both providers and patients. She has lived in North Carolina in the Benson area most of her life but has resided in Raleigh for the last four years while attending college.
Jessie attended Meredith College where she got a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with concentration in Social Sciences, along with a minor in Psychology. She plans on attending graduate school in the future to get her Masters in Social Work and become a therapist. In addition to working in the medical field, Jessie also has experience working in retail and in a variety of customer-facing roles.
She is passionate about social justice and believes in fighting for equal access to safe and quality healthcare. She plans on bringing her passion to AIM by being of service to those seeking help. She holds honesty and transparency as a core value because she sees the integral role they play in personal and professional growth. Jessie’s main desire is to see the people she comes in contact with flourish as individuals by learning more about themselves and the world around them.
In her free time, Jessie enjoys going on walks, finding new coffee shops, and listening to all different kinds of podcasts (recommendations welcomed!). She would one day love to have her own podcast.
