Wendy Kimball Riggins, MS, LCMHC, CEAP

Wendy Kimball Riggins, MS, LPC, CEAP, is the Director of Personal Development at Advaita Integrated Medicine. In this position, Wendy dedicates her time to enhancing team members’ personal and professional growth. She ensures increased access, affordability, and quality healthcare at Advaita Integrated Medicine.

Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Davidson College and earned her Master’s in Addiction Counseling from William & Mary. Throughout her career, she has worked in mental health and substance use; moreover, she has worked with refugee communities, recovering professionals, in employee assistance programs, and with young adults in experiential and wilderness treatment. Her recent professional background includes her roles as Clinical Outreach Director at Four Circles Recovery Center and Admissions Director at Green Hill Recovery. A North Carolina native, Wendy brings 20 years of clinical and program development experience to the team. Wendy also spent 12 years in employee assistance, providing individual and family counseling, substance abuse compliance workshops, and crisis response.

Wendy is passionate about supporting individuals and families in recovery. She has developed monitoring and recovery coaching programs while promoting evidence-based treatment in residential and inpatient settings. Using a strengths-based, collaborative approach, she believes everyone can become their best selves and have the internal resources to get there. Wendy is trained in EMDR, Harvard Mind-Body Relaxation techniques, and is a qualified MBTI administrator. Outside of work, she enjoys running on flat trails or sipping another cup of coffee.
