Chloe Prokos, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric social work, college counseling, and crisis intervention. As a social worker, she believes in the dignity and worth of every individual and is motivated to work with clients wherever they are in their healing process. She provides outpatient therapy to adults via telehealth and in-person at Advaita Integrated Medicine’s locations in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Cary, North Carolina.

Chloe obtained her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Pittsburgh. While in graduate school, she completed practicums as a partial hospitalization therapist and an inpatient psychiatric social worker. She went on to work full-time with clients diagnosed with eating disorders at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. After moving to North Carolina, Chloe worked at Carolina Outreach’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care conducting crisis assessments and counseling for individuals ages four and older. She also has experience counseling college students at North Carolina State University.

Throughout her career, Chloe has worked with a wide variety of diagnoses and concerns including life transitions, depression, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, PTSD, and severe and persistent mental illness including psychotic disorders. Chloe has had the opportunity to work with individuals at all points in their recovery journey, from struggling with new mental health symptoms to being in acute crisis as part of chronic mental health difficulties. She enjoys working with young adults who are fostering independence and exploring new identities. Across all settings, Chloe has worked with individuals who have experienced trauma and has seen how deeply it can impact functioning and sense of self. She is passionate about helping clients understand how trauma affects our mind, body, and spirit and figuring out the next steps toward feeling safe and heard. As a new mother, Chloe is also passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum individuals who are in need of support. Chloe’s clinical practice is eclectic and informed by various evidence-based modalities including Cognitive and Dialectical behavior therapies, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

Chloe strives to provide a collaborative, non-judgmental space for clients. She believes that we all have inherent strength and works to empower clients and help them access needed resources. Working in various interdisciplinary settings has shown Chloe the power and effectiveness of integrated approaches to mental health care. She is excited to embrace the Advaita Collective’s holistic perspective for each of her clients.
