Donna Bauer

Admissions Director

Donna Bauer joined Advaita Integrated Medicine as our Community Outreach Representative in the spring of 2022, and later transitioned into the role of Admissions Director in early 2023.

Donna comes to Advaita Integrated Medicine with over 12 years of experience in the leadership and business development realm. Donna has a passion for customer service and business development, in the pursuit of holistic wellness. She spent 4 years moving throughout the state of North Carolina to various locations with Planet Fitness to either jumpstart a program or help to stabilize an already existing program. Throughout this experience, she found her love for problem-solving, business development, and empowering team members.

Although Donna thoroughly enjoyed her time in the fitness industry, she realized that being in the behavioral health field was her true calling. She still stays in touch with her love for fitness by occasionally attending classes at Orangetheory, as she loves the connections she makes with members and the positive energy in the studio. Donna sees how physical health and mental health are intertwined, and loves to support others in engaging in healthy lifestyles that support their overall wellbeing.

Donna is extremely passionate about Advaita Integrated Medicine serving as an integrated practice with a whole-person care model, where we don’t approach health and wellness from a “one size fits all” perspective. Instead, we take an individualized approach that spans the whole continuum of care, all while paying attention to dual diagnoses and comorbid symptoms. She takes this very seriously during the admissions process by seeking to oversee, improve, and strengthen timely access to our providers and services. Her coordination with our providers and administrative team members allows us to provide a top-notch patient experience and exceptional quality of care, all of which enables patients to enhance their overall treatment and wellness outcomes.
