Erin Gillespie, CADC, is a mental health professional who serves as the the Treatment Operations Manager at AIM. She oversees day-to-day operations and has a hands-on role with the members served.
Erin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. During her college career, Erin assisted on research projects catered to the eating disorder field. Her mental health career began in this same field at Carolina Outreach where she was the Lead Residential Patient Assistant and was hands-on with patient care. Later on, she transferred to the homeless and low-income population with Carolina Outreach.
Erin is an enthusiastic and empathetic individual who aspires to bring light and fun to AIM. Furthermore, she intends to cultivate a therapeutic environment where both employees and members feel acknowledged and supported. Her goal is to adopt a nonjudgmental approach to recovery, emphasizing that it is not a linear path. In addition, she aims to bring a sense of normalcy to the often tumultuous road of recovery, providing support to members every step of the way.
Moreover, Erin Gillespie will implement a whole-person approach in her role with AIM. She will collaborate closely with her coworkers and members, serving as a liaison for patient care to ensure the facility runs smoothly.
