Joe Bastante

Chief Technology Officer

Joe Bastante is the Chief Technology Officer at Advaita Health, bringing more than 30 years of experience in technology, executive leadership, and digital strategy. Throughout his career, he has built award-winning artificial intelligence technologies, led technology practices recognized at the national level, and served as a technology executive for organizations ranging from startups and high-growth companies to large enterprises.

Joe’s experience spans technology, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, architecture, process engineering, and digital transformation. He has also served as a consultant and executive advisor to major companies and private equity firms, providing technology strategy and due diligence for both buyers and sellers. Despite his extensive leadership experience, Joe has remained closely involved with technology and product development, including testing emerging AI tools and evaluating how they can be applied to real-world business challenges.

Joe brings a broad healthcare background to Advaita Health, with experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical research, health insurance, healthcare delivery, and health technology. As CTO, he works across teams to identify opportunities for technology and better processes to improve how Advaita Health operates and serves its patients. His focus includes building systems that support employees in their work, improve the patient experience, and position the organization to use emerging technologies responsibly and effectively.

Joe earned his Master of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers. He has also pursued professional certifications and training across security, architecture, Lean Six Sigma, and project management.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing classical guitar, writing, working with power tools, exercising, volunteering, reading, and gardening.
