Kelly Crenshaw, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Advaita Integrated Medicine in Raleigh, North Carolina. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and holistic wellness strategies to patients of all ages.

Kelly Crenshaw has been a nurse for 18 years and a nurse practitioner for 9 years. Kelly began her career in the hospital setting, working in cardiac and intensive care units. In this setting, she observed firsthand how mental health significantly impacts patient outcomes. Her passion for mental health led her to further her education as a family nurse practitioner. Here, she treated mental health disorders and shortly after found her true calling. She then completed a post-master’s certification in mental health and has since provided care to clients of all ages in outpatient settings.

Kelly employs an evidence-based, holistic approach to care, focusing on medication management alongside improvements in sleep, exercise, and nutrition. She utilizes positivity and gratitude simultaneously to help clients become the best versions of themselves. Her professional passion includes helping clients find their full potential and most productive selves by focusing on coping skills, self-advocacy, and individual strengths. Kelly also enjoys educating clients on their diagnoses and treatment options to create a collaborative plan of care.

“I work with a holistic perspective, focusing on the whole person, not just the disorder. I am committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on empathy and respect, helping clients understand their treatment options to make informed decisions.”

It’s important to note that Kelly dedicates herself to reducing the negative stigma associated with seeking treatment for mental health issues. For this reason, she strives to be supportive, inclusive, and empowering for all her clients.
