Kylie Hoover, PMHNP-BC

Kylie Hoover, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered care. She specializes in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry, an often underserved area of mental healthcare, along with thought disorders and personality disorders.

Kylie holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Pennsylvania State University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University. Following graduation, she completed her psychiatric residency through the Durham VA Health Care System in collaboration with Duke University, where she gained extensive experience treating individuals with complex trauma and co-occurring mental health conditions.

She works with individuals navigating mood disorders, PTSD, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis presentations, with a particular passion for supporting women across reproductive life stages as well as veterans impacted by trauma. Her work with veterans has given her a strong understanding of military culture and service-related trauma, informing a thoughtful, collaborative approach that emphasizes education, empowerment, and individualized care.

With a strong belief in integrative treatment, Kylie utilizes medication management alongside evidence-based and holistic modalities. She approaches every patient with compassion and a nuanced understanding of how trauma affects both the mind and body, creating a safe, supportive space for healing and long-term stability.

Kylie offers services to motivated individuals who are open to learning, growth, and exploring multiple therapeutic approaches. She is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and provides care through both in-person and telehealth appointments.
