Practice Manager – Chapel Hill
Lauren Settle serves as the Practice Manager at Advaita Integrated Medicine – Chapel Hill. She recently moved from Charlotte, NC to Raleigh, NC to pursue her career in healthcare. She earned her B.S. in Health Systems Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, minoring in Public Health. Lauren is also a recent 2024 Master of Health Administration Graduate.
Throughout her academic career, Lauren maintained excellent academic standing at the University. In her final undergraduate year, she was accepted into early entry graduate graduate school and in 2023, began her Master’s in Health Administration. She made the Chancellor’s List in both undergraduate and graduate school, and finished graduate school with a 4.0 GPA. While studying, she also worked full-time in healthcare, gaining valuable experience. Lauren served as a Patient Services Representative at a rheumatology office and as an Administrative Intern at a local hospital. During graduate school, she participated in multiple research studies for hospitals and non-profits, helping implement new programs.
Lauren is honored to be part of the AIM team and emphasizes patient-centered care. To serve patients best, she aims to create a culture of excellence with clear communication. Moreover, she believes building a strong internal foundation translates into better patient service. By setting strategic, specific, measurable, and timely goals, Lauren hopes to realize the bigger picture. She vows to continuously improve strengths and seek growth opportunities for optimal success and quality improvement.
In sum, Lauren aims to foster an environment prioritizing empathy and compassion, allowing integrated care to flourish. She values mentorship and facilitation over control. As an organization, collectively adapting to change while honoring our mission and values enhances patient experience and success. Maintaining a positive mindset and remembering our “why” keeps patients at the center of everything we do.
