Le-Keisha is dedicated to providing a healing therapeutic setting at our Chapel Hill location, guiding others through their unique set of challenges. Her commitment to understanding and addressing mental health concerns and substance use disorders stems from her belief that collectively, we each play a role in helping each other become better.
A Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA), and Certified Trauma Professional, Le-Keisha holds her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Le-Keisha’s work experience covers 20 years, ranging from community-level work to university settings and Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Programming. Her passion comes from understanding all the complex parts of a person to help them feel whole—using techniques that recognize the impact of trauma on the body, mind, and spirit.
Authentic in delivery, Le-Keisha strives to create healing spaces that break away from discomfort, alienation, and the stigmatization of the therapeutic experience.

- Polyvagal Theory – understanding how the nervous system responds to stress and trauma
