Madeline Hooper, MSW, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist at Advaita Integrated Medicine in Cary and Raleigh, North Carolina. Madeline is devoted to supporting individuals and families on their personal journeys, believing firmly in the transformative power of being heard. She is committed to helping her clients identify and utilize their strengths to become the best versions of themselves.
Specializing in working with children, teens, and young adults, Madeline employs cognitive behavioral therapy, complemented by strength-based and person-centered approaches. She adapts her interventions to suit each client’s age and educational level, incorporating play-based methods as needed. Madeline’s sessions are tailored to meet clients where they are, focusing on building partnerships and developing shared goals that promote thriving. She recognizes that while structure can be beneficial, flexibility is often essential, allowing each session to uniquely contribute to a client’s therapeutic journey. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and trauma.
Outside of her practice, Madeline enjoys spending time outdoors with her Mini Goldendoodle, staying active through workouts and running, and baking delicious treats. A Durham, NC native, she completed her undergraduate studies at Elon University with a major in Human Service Studies and a minor in Psychology. She then earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. Her professional experience includes roles in Social Services, Child Advocacy Centers, schools (K-12), outpatient settings, a Crisis Center, and Community Mental Health before joining the team at Advaita Integrated Medicine.
