Nikki Kersey
East Carolina University (Greenville, NC)—Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management
Revenue Cycle Associate
Nikki Kersey serves as a Revenue Cycle Associate, having originally joined AIM as a Patient Care Coordinator. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in the spring of 2024. Nikki found her passion in helping others by exploring various career paths during her academic and professional journey. Although Nikki had initially planned to pursue a career as a hands-on medical professional, her journey led her towards administrative and billing work. In this role she discovered her new purpose.
Nikki’s previous experience includes obtaining her CNA license, which has since expired due to her discomfort working during COVID. Nikki’s biggest achievement is being the first person in her family to graduate from a university. Although it has taken Nikki longer to figure out her career path, she has maintained good grades and a high GPA.
Nikki finds motivation in her passion for helping others in the community and advocating for accessible healthcare. Nikki Kersey strongly believes that everyone deserves access to at least primary care and is always looking for ways to get involved and volunteer for the community. By using her voice for the greater good, Nikki plans on providing a sense of purpose, joy, and authenticity to both her personal and professional life. Nikki’s ultimate goal is to contribute to the community and our clients in a meaningful way.
