Talby Duerksen

Admissions Coordinator

Talby Duerksen is the Admissions Coordinator at Advaita Health, bringing several years of experience in mental and behavioral healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma Christian University and has built her career around helping individuals and families access behavioral health services and navigate the process of getting connected to care.

Throughout her career, Talby has worked directly with clients and families while also leading large teams of mental health professionals. These experiences strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, solve problems, and support people during what can be an uncertain or stressful time. Her background as a collegiate volleyball player and coach has also shaped her approach to leadership, teamwork, and accountability.

As Admissions Coordinator, Talby works to make the process of accessing care at Advaita Health as clear and supportive as possible. She takes time to listen to each person’s needs, answer questions, and help connect individuals and families with appropriate services. Talby values the trust people place in the admissions team and strives to make every interaction feel welcoming, respectful, and responsive.

Talby is passionate about improving access to quality behavioral healthcare throughout the community. She brings compassion, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to her work with clients, families, providers, and the broader Advaita Health team.

Outside of work, Talby enjoys staying active through exercise, hiking, and sports. She loves spending time outdoors, learning about other cultures, and teaching English as a Second Language.
