A Whole-Person Centered Approach to Mental Health

Liz’s approach to patient care is rooted in a philosophy of whole-person centered treatment, which she defines as addressing both the mental and physical dimensions of health. For Liz, mental wellness isn’t achieved through medication alone; it involves a combination of therapeutic modalities that support a person’s total well-being. At AIM, Liz incorporates medication management with holistic methods, such as mindfulness, stress reduction, meditation, physical activity, and nutrition, providing patients with tools to support a balanced and resilient lifestyle.

Whole-person care is about working with clients to build the healthiest version of themselves, considering all facets of their lives. It’s a partnership where the patient’s goals, lifestyle, and challenges guide the treatment plan.

This patient-centered approach empowers clients to take an active role in their care, with Liz providing the support and resources necessary to reach their mental health goals. Through empathy and collaboration, Liz ensures that each patient’s treatment is aligned with their unique needs and values.
