Patient Care Coordinator
Britney Alexander is the New Patient Coordinator at AIM, assisting our admin team in scheduling patients, handling phone calls, fielding email inquiries, and being the front-line of communication between AIM and patients. Britney knows that her role at AIM is critical, as she sets the tone for the patients’ experience. She is compassionate, empathetic, and efficient when assisting patients. Britney says that her main goal is to ensure all patients feel welcome and supported. Excited to be a part of the team at AIM, she knows that she can play a role in ending the stigma against mental health and substance use treatment.
Originally a Florida native, she has been in North Carolina for nearly a decade. She has witnessed substance abuse and mental health concerns affect those around her throughout her life, and it drew her to this field. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and has intent to pursue a Masters in Social Work. She was a volunteer for the Apex Mayor’s Substance Misuse Task Force, and played a variety of critical roles on the team She would often connect with professionals about substance abuse in surrounding communities.
When she isn’t in school or working, you’ll find Britney spending quality time with her mom and friends. A passionate cook, she and her mother enjoy spending time in the kitchen together trying new recipes and perfecting favorite ones. Britney is also very creative, painting in her free time.
